Netflix is set to enthrall viewers with its upcoming series ‘The Serpent’ starring Tahar Rahim as the notorious serial killer Charles Shobhraj. The show, which was first commissioned by BBC, is based on a true story and follows the life of Charles Shobhraj. The series will follow Charles (Tahar Rahim) and his girlfriend as they commit a series of crimes across India, Nepal, and Thailand. However, their lives take a U-turn when they become chief suspects in a series of murders.
Shobhraj, who was popularly known as the Bikini Killer, committed at least a dozen of murders between 1975 and 1976 and was given the title of “The Serpent” for using cunning techniques to dodge authorities.

Tahar Rahim as Charles Shobhraj

The actor has been a part of many critically-acclaimed movies such as ‘The Informant’, ‘The Past’ and ‘Mary Magdalene’.

Jenna Coleman as Marie-Andrée Leclerc
Born on April 27, 1986, Jenna-Louise Coleman is an accomplished British actress who is known for her role in the TV series ‘Emmerdale’. Coleman always wanted to be an actress and even turned down the offer to study at the University of York to pursue her acting career.
