One of the most iconic TV shows of all time, ‘The Nanny’, is finally making its way to a streaming service and it is HBO Max that heard the fans voicing their aspirations to see the beloved series once again on their television screens.
The series follows the life of a woman named Fran Fine (Fran Drescher) and how she accidentally becomes the nanny for a wealthy and widowed Broadway producer, Maxwell Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy), and his three children. ‘The Nanny’ turned out to be a massive success for the makers and all the actors who appeared on the show. The series was created by Drescher and Peter Marc Jacobson. The show ran for six seasons and saw many directors like Dorothy Lyman, Lee Shallat-Chemel, Linda Dey, Rande Bennett and Gail Mancuso helming the episodes.
