The season premiere of ‘The Masked Dancer’ finally kicked off with the introduction of five contestants from the Group Fire namely Cricket, Disco Ball, Exotic Bird, Hammerhead and Tulip. After Hammerhead showed his powerful dance moves on Backstreet Boys’ hit number number ‘Everybody (Backstreet's Back)’, it was time for another costumed celebrity to hit the stage.

With an intention to leave the panelists and audiences guessing, the masked celebrity who came dressed as a Tulip, introduced herself someone who got bullied in the school but was very active in acrobatics. While speaking about herself in the montage, the Tulip also said, “We are all in this together” to which panelist Paula Abdul thought she might be from ‘High School Musical.’

The Tulip then performed on Fergie’s hit single ‘Fergalicious’ which got the panelists Brian Austin Green, Ken Jeong, Ashley Tisdale and Paula quite animated. When it came to using the “Word-Up” feature, the Tulip went for the word “Triple.” Carefully looking at her moves, Paula commented that the Tulip was certainly a trained dancer. She also asked the Tulip if she had a ponytail under the mask to which she replied with a firm yes. Joining all the dots, Paula made a guess that the Tulip might be Ariana Grande while Ashley thought she could be the TikTok star, Charli D’Amelio. Ken took a guess with Heather Morris as he thought Tulip acted like his on-screen daughter from musical comedy-drama series ‘Glee.’
