'The Masked Singer' season 2 is closer towards its finale and the competition is heating up with only the best and hottest singers remaining and fighting for a spot in the finals. Returning on Wednesday night, four of the best-masked singers this season took to the stage and performed their best hoping to not get unmasked. But sadly in the end, one singer was unmasked, and it was the biggest surprise ever.

Performing 2/2 the contestants battled against each other, hoping to win and not make it to the Smackdown. The first battle was between the Flamingo and Leopard. The Flamingo gave her most powerful performance yet, but that doesn't mean the Leopard did any less. After the judges and audience voted, the winner of the battle was the Flamingo. The Leopard headed to the Smackdown.

The second battle was between the Flower and Rottweiler. The Rottweiler, as usual, gave a stunning and strong performance that has all of us wondering who is under the mask. The Flower also stepped up her game with an emotional yet amazing performance. Though the Flower's voice was legendary, sadly the winner of the battle was the Rottweiler.

The Leopard and Flower headed to the Smackdown for one last battle to see who will advance to next week, and who will be eliminated. It was indeed a strong battle. The Leopard performed 'Don't Cha' by the Pussycat Dolls, and the Flower performed her version of Survivor's 'Eye of The Tiger' both their song selections were a strong choice, and it was the biggest and toughest decision the judges had to make.

The votes were in, and the winner of the Smackdown was the Rottweiler, which meant the Flower was the one getting masked. The final guesses of the all the judges except Ken Jeong were Patti Labelle. Ken Jeong was still confident in his answer predicting it was Bjork under the mask.

Finally, after a long wait and weeks of speculating, the Flower was unmasked to reveal that it was none other than Patti Labelle, and fans claim they were right once again.

Taking to Twitter a fan wrote, "WHEW!!! Thank you because we all knew!! But it was soooo much fun watching @PattiLabelleL perform as the beautiful flower that she is."  Adding to that another fan said, "I knew that the #FlowerMask was @MsPattiPatti the whole time #TheMaskedSinger."

"I knew the flower was Ms. Patty from the first time she opened her mouth. Patty’s voice is legendary #Pattie LaBelle," shared a fan. While another wrote, "Knew it from the get go. You can’t mistake her voice!"
