'The Mandalorian' Season 2 Episode 6, 'Chapter 14: The Tragedy', lived up to every word of the title. While Grogu indeed connected to the Force, and Mando/Din Djarin made deals with Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), it was Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) with the last laugh as he made away with the child. The episode had a lot to offer in terms of excitement and heartbreak that saw the Razor Crest being blown to smithereens, Boba Fett's slambang action and the introduction of the Darktroopers.

With the Empire ship now in hyperdrive, Mando's mission is to find the baby and while has his newfound allies in Fett and Shand, he also needs a source to lead him to Moff Gideon. Din plans to break Mig Mayfeld (Bill Burr) out of prison to know more about the Empire leader's whereabouts.

Last we saw, he was on a mission with Mando to rescue a prisoner on a New Republic correctional transport ship. It ended with Mayfeld betraying Mando to escape the ship and Din had his revenge by locking them in a cell. And now, as much as he hates it, Din needs Mayfeld's help. The reluctant, yet all-important team-up just might see some fireworks before Mando can get any sort of help from the former sharpshooter of the Imperial military.

The episode might also look back at Mayfeld's history and his life after the fall of the Empire. While we do know he turned out as a mercenary, it is possible that Din feels he can make use of Mayfeld's connections that could help track Moff Gideon and Grogu. However, this might come at a price and we reckon it might be the cost of letting a man like Mayfeld walk away scot-free. However, from what we have seen so far in 'The Mandalorian', Din has become a father figure of sorts for Grogu and will do anything to protect the kid.

Not very optimistic to see Mando forge a deal with Mayfeld, but not many ways out either. Do you think Mayfeld can help Mando out in finding out where Moff Gideon and Baby Yoda are?

'The Mandalorian' Season 2 has two episodes remaining. Chapter 15 will drop on December 11 on Disney+.
