'America's Got Talent' made a comeback this summer for its 17th season, with Terry Crews taking over as host with Sofa Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell serving as the judges once more. Contestants from all over the world attended the seventh round of auditions, with The Lazy Generation of the UK standing out.

The winner of this year's competition will get $1 million in cash as well as the opportunity to perform as the featured act in Las Vegas. The first five audition episodes aired between May 31 and June 28, and the sixth part of first-round auditions aired on July 12 after the 'Simon's Favorite Golden Buzzers' special on July 5. The seventh group of original artists competing for quarter-final spots was featured in the episode of July 19. On NBC's cult talent competition series, The Lazy Generation, a group that specializes in local stunts and games, performs.

The funny audition act of the enigmatic group has thus far been kept a well-guarded secret, but this has only served to pique fans' interest. The crew pulls off ridiculous, hilarious acts that frequently lead to falls and minor injuries. "We may not be American. We may not be talented. But somehow, someway, The Lazy Generation is on America’s Got Talent," the group earlier shared on social media. The name of the group alludes to a dislike of "normal stuff." They are in America because 'Britain's Got Talent' wouldn't let them perform as they had envisioned.

The Lazy Generation, who are from London, were dressed in shorts and sandals and gave off a Terry California vibe, but that was only a characteristic of their own brand of athleticism. Similar to 'Jackass,' they perform stunts where it appears that someone is in danger. For instance, a pillow battle with hardware-filled cases. They made their biggest member attempt to jump across the other members when they were all lying down, but he comically landed on the last person. After getting hot sauce poured in their eyes and being poked with cattle prods and tacked on the ground, they ended the night with a pillow fight. The other judges seemed to enjoy the antics, especially once they discovered that tacks were lodged in their feet, but Sofia couldn't take it and pressed the red buzzer. Although it was a "hot mess," Heidi claimed that it was so bad it was good. According to Simon, it's unique, and there is undoubtedly a crowd that enjoys this brand of entertainment. Sofia's opposition is unwavering, but thanks to three yes votes from the others, the group was able to move on.

Fans quickly to social media to call the similarity between the group and the show 'Jackass': "The Lazy Generation was funny they're UK's version on Jack@$$ #AGT." On the other hand, another fan didn't feel the act was good enough, as they write: "Lazy Generation? Idk about this act #AGT."
