The episode seems to be filled with a lot of violence and adult content because the warning label for the episode says, “adult language, adult content, and violence.”

When it comes to the official runtimes of other recent HBO show premieres, ‘The Last of Us’ is much ahead of the likes of ‘House of the Dragon’ (66 minutes), ‘The Nevers’ (65 minutes), ‘Game of Thrones’ (61 minutes), ‘True Detective’ (57 minutes), ‘Euphoria’ (53 minutes), and ‘The White Lotus’ (51 minutes).

As far as the first season of ‘The Last of Us’ is concerned, it will cover Part One of the blockbuster hit game and will consist of nine episodes. The official synopsis reads, “The official synopsis reads: "Set 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed and centers on the relationship between Joel, a smuggler in this new world, and Ellie, a teenager who may be key to a cure for a deadly pandemic. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle the 14-year-old girl out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey as they traverse the US and depend on each other for survival.”
