Ever since ABC’s 'The Good Doctor' started airing, it has had a warm welcome and positive response from fans. Although initially, many wondered if this is yet another medical drama trying to compete with the classic shows, it turned out to be a completely refreshing viewing experience.

From addressing serious disorders to the deepest emotions of doctors (who are otherwise considered to be made of steel), this show has touched upon many interesting angles of every character involved. Take Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) for example. Anyone who loves the show is in absolute appreciation for the way the character of Dr. Lim has shaped up over the last few seasons. In this particular season, we are seeing her more authoritative side but with a touch of warmth, which is her core trait.

A Christina Chang fan Natasha @FaithfulNetizen loved her work and said, “Dr. Lim is honestly one of the best characters, if not the best in #TheGoodDoctor @_ChristinaChang. Thank you so much for always putting justice in your portrayal of Dr Lim!” Particularly, in the current season 3's episode 5 her fans couldn’t stop appreciating her leadership skills. To give a little background, here’s what went down in episode 5 (spoilers).

Dr. Lim has been very supportive of Shaun all through and finally hands him his first lead surgery. She practically handpicked the best patient one could ask for, much to Dr. Andrew’s disappointment. However, upon further diagnosis, a few complications of the patient come to light. Dr. Lim asks Dr. Park to break the bad news to the patient, but the turn of events makes Shaun do the job. This, in turn, makes the patient change her mind and refuse to get the surgery performed by Shaun. This is where we see Dr. Lim standing up as a true leader and handle the situation beautifully, as you would imagine. Neither does she let the patient down (which would be unethical as a doctor), nor does she disappoint her juniors (Shaun) who look up to her for support, guidance, and the right decision. Fans feel that Lim is a classic example of a good leader that institutions need.

Twitter took very positively to this gesture of Lim. Like Eugene BOO-yon@eybyon said, “My wife and I applauded Dr. Lim’s leadership on tonight’s ep. We long to be more like her as leaders of our family as well as at work and church. Thanks for a great show tonight! #TheGoodDoctor.

‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 airs on Monday at 10.30 pm only on ABC.
