'Superman & Lois' Episode 2 Spoilers: What does The Stranger want from Kal-el in 'Heritage'?

‘Superman & Lois’ Season 1 Episode 2 ‘Heritage’ will be available to stream on The CW App on March 2, 2021. The second episode of the Arroweverse spinoff brings back Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, who has now settled in the Smallville after the events of the first episode. The 90-minute long premiere episode ends by revealing the true identity of The Stranger and what he actually wants from Kal-El.
Ahead of the release of the second episode of ‘Superman & Lois’, The CW has released the official description: “While adjusting to their new lives in Smallville, Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) and Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) make an important decision concerning one of their sons. Meanwhile, tensions begin to rise between Lois and Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner). Lastly, Lana Lang Cushing (Emmanuelle Chriqui) invites the Kent family over for a barbecue.”

What does The Stranger want from Superman?
As shown in the first episode, The Stranger has started sending cryptic messages to Kent over several nuclear facilities. After discussing it with General Sam Lane, Kent goes on a hunt to find The Stranger. The duo has a one-on-one battle in the space where he puts a Kryptonite in Kent’s chest and throws him to fall to his death.
However, Kent survives the fall and goes out to find more information about him as The Stranger knows everything about his life -- including Kent’s real family and how he was sent to earth after his planet was destroyed.
In the final moments of the episode, we heard an AI calling The Stranger by his real name -- Luthor. In DC Comics, Lex Luthor is shown as Superman’s archenemy. What he wants from Kal-El and why he wishes to destroy him will be uncovered in the second episode.
Lois and Morgan Edge:
In DC Comics, Morgan Edge is shown as a media mogul who acquires The Daily Planet. After the Crisis on Infinite series, the character was changed to a supervillain and eventually becomes a Superman nemesis.
In ‘Superman & Lois’, Adam Rayner is shown portraying the role of the business mogul who will come to Smallville for business purposes. His actions will soon be noticed by Lane, who will try everything in her power to understand Morgan’s true intentions of coming to Smallville.
Which son has the superpowers?
In ‘Superman & Lois’ Episode 1, Kent finally reveals his true identity to his children, only to find out they are not pleased with who he really is. As one event leads to another, we see that it is Jordan Kent who has powers like his father.
As the title of the second episode suggests, viewers might see how Clark will help Jordan understand their true heritage. As we saw in the first episode, Clark might also help Jordan in controlling and channelizing his powers.
