'The Conners' cast Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne as special guests for new episode, fans 'can't wait'
Despite personal health concerns and the coronavirus putting a hamper on Ozzy Osbourne's 2020 plans, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and his wife Sharon Osbourne are keen to let the show go on, in comedy entertainment. The legendary couple are scheduled to entertain the US on ABC's Tuesday night lineup (March 17), making their way as special guests on a brand new episode of 'The Conners'.
The sitcom's upcoming episode is titled 'Beards, Thrupples and Robots' and fans will get to see Ozzy and Sharon appear on the show alongside the leading stars John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman. It's not clear yet how exactly the couple will tie into the episode's plot, but according to TV Guide, Sharon's relationship with Gilbert from their time on 'The Talk' could lead to some cheeky inside jokes.

After the announcement was made through 'The Conners'' Twitter page, fans expressed their excitement to see the duo on the show. Amid the numerous gifs and memes that soon popped up, fans were seen commenting using exclamation marks aplenty. Fans expressed their excitement with "For real? OMG! How cool! (sic)" and "Oh this is sweet! The Osbourne’s! (sic)" and "WHAT?! AWESOME!!! (sic)". Many said they "can't wait" for the upcoming episode. One fan said, "This makes me more excited than I already was for @TheConnersABC (sic)".
The new episode premieres on March 17 at 8 pm ET.
