The format of 'The Circle' doesn't leave much room for real connections to be formed. However, Season 1 winner Joey Sasso was able to overcome the challenge by being his charming and honest self. Miranda Bissonnette was smitten by the stranger and wished to meet him once she was blocked from participating further.

What happened when they met was unexpected because you don't usually see that kind of spark. Within moments of first seeing each other, the two kissed. It appeared to be an intense one and therefore, led people to believe that they could start something new. And they did, only it didn't last long.

After filming ended, Miranda moved to Los Angeles to stay with Joey. They had to keep their friendship under the wrap and stay away from social media. Despite the obstacles, the couple was able to start a new chapter. Unfortunately, that ended shortly after but they were at least able to hold on to the friendship.

"We are in each other’s lives. We are incredibly close. I love that girl to death," Joey told Esquire and added: "We have an amazing friendship that is unlike any relationship I’ve had with anyone else except my ex-girlfriend, who I’ve been best friends with since I was a child, so this means so much to me."

Joey added that they lead different lives now but are in touch and speak regularly. Miranda lives out of Tahoe, while Joey is in LA. "For both of us, we just know that the love we have for each other—we know relationships can change that. She has a life in Tahoe; I have a life in LA, but we see each other all the time. We talk all the time. The love there is so genuine and real."

Miranda echoed when she spoke about how different and special her and Joey's relationship has been. She confirmed that they speak every day. Well, that's one healthy relationship right there.

'The Circle' Season 2 will premiere on April 14, Wednesday. The cast list has not been confirmed yet. However, we know that comedian Michelle Buteau will resume hosting duties.
