'The Challenge': Will Aneesa Ferreira never be a finalist? Fans have an answer after she and Fessy Shafaat lose

Fans are livid after Aneesa said they didn't have to win 'smuggle run' because they have the golden skulls already

Aneesa Ferreira and Faysal 'Fessy' Shafaat have lost the Smuggle Run task. Host TJ Lavin announced that partners would have to shoulder a massive, heavy tank on their shoulders, reach a mid-point, solve a puzzle and then walk, jog and run, if they have any energy left, to the finish line.

As interesting as it sounds, it was also exhausting for some, especially for the said pair, who finished last and that could also be her fault or maybe not. Technically, they didn't even have to compete, they have their golden skulls and that makes them immune to any kind of elimination. Their ticket to the finale is confirmed but fans have one problem - that shouldn't cause anyone to be lackadaisical.

While Fessy kept pushing Aneesa to beat at least one team ahead of them, she chose not to agree with him simply because they don't need to win the task. They are secure. Will that approach fly with him or will he change his partner when he gets an opportunity next? Fessy was already complaining about Aneesa's endurance and strength, so there are chances he could switch should he be given the chance.

Meanwhile, fans have weighed in with their two cents about the agents ending up being last.  "Fessy in last place because of Aneesa #TheChallenge36," a fan commented, while another shared: "Fessy and Aneesa getting last on a mini “final” so shocking."

"Aneesa just bothered me with that comment. Just because this isn't the final, doesn't mean you shouldn't give it your all and try. #TheChallenge36," a user tweeted. "But also Aneesa not caring would’ve annoyed me like just because it’s not the final you aren’t gonna try?! #TheChallenge36," another pointed out.

"If you can't be competitive in a 5 mile run how can you expect to run in the final? Aneesa living up to everyone's expectation about her ability to run a final. #TheChallenge36," a fan commented. "Yup. Aneesa is a mess. Yes, this is not the final; however, this moment will strengthen the reason why no one will want to risk running a final with you," one viewer expressed.
