'The Boys' fans had something to cheer for. The Amazon series' official Twitter page released a family photo of sorts featuring Seven, the infamous superheroes. Posing in the picture are Homelander, Starlight, Black Noir, Queen Maeve, A-Train, The Deep and a character in green.

According to CBR, the character is Translucent, a member of The Seven. To bring the invisibility powers of Translucent to life, Alex Hassell wears green cloth and makeup to completely cover his skin. Green screen effects then fill up to create the illusion of the invisible superhero. Fans on Twitter had a whale of a time talking about Translucent.

One fan wrote: "WTF, look at that @WarnerMedia! @ZackSnyder's DCEU was going to get a 'green guy'. The Martian Manhunter. It's as if @PrimeVideo is selling @DCComics fans what they keep asking @warnerbros for... #ZackSnydersJusticeLeague, please. @Elliottmgmtcorp @ATT @hbomax #ReleaseTheSnyderCut."

"Well well well, if it ain’t the invisible c**t," tweeted another. "I don't see no green guy... You sure u don't need to have your eyes checked, mate?" another fan said.

"Who the fuck is that????? With the green face?? We love him already," a tweet read. This fan has a hilarious theory: "He's MintMan. He's always minty and he kills you by the way of mint." Here's another: "That is The Deep's love child with a sea reptilian."

The troll theories continued. "That’s Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales," opined a fan.  A majority of the tweets were a call for Amazon to release the second season early.

Alex Hassell had a complement coming his way as well. "You really have to give it to Alex Hassell. He was only in it for 2 or 3 episodes but in that time he pulled off an amazing American accent, was locked in a cage, went completely naked AND got painted green!" A ''Watchmen' fan called him "Dr. Planthattan".

'The Boys' debuted on Amazon Prime on July 26 last year and garnered a positive response from critics and fans. It portrays a world where superheroes are treated as celebs and rockstars and are funded and managed by a large corporation. The plot delves into the corruption of these superheroes behind the scenes, and it’s up to a team of normal individuals, The Boys, to uncover to stop the injustice.

Amazon is yet to announce an official release date for Season 2.
