'The Bold Type' Season 4 Episode 11 Preview: Jane return to Scarlet Magazine while Kat struggles to find job

'The Bold Type' might not have been away from our television screens for a long time but we missed it sorely. This week, the Freeform series is returning for the second part of its fourth season and rest assured, it looks all good!
According to the official synopsis of the episode, "Three months after surgery, Jane returns to Scarlet with new editorial duties. Kat faces a hard truth when she’s forced to take some responsibility. Sutton goes to bat on her first shoot and gets some shocking news that upends her world."
At the end of the last season, Jane Sloan (Katie Stevens) goes in for her double mastectomy with her best friends Kat Edison (Aisha Dee) and Sutton Brady-Hunter (Meghann Fahy) by her side. We expect the first episode of the upcoming season to focus on Jane's recovery following the operation. Following her recovery, Jane will return to Scarlet Magazine. And so will Sutton, but not Kat.
After being fired towards the end of the last season for ousting RJ Safford's (Aidan Devine) link with a conversion camp, we might see Kat struggle on the work end. In the promos for the upcoming season, it looks like Kat might be having a difficult time getting a new job.
Will Scarlet be able to take her back? As much as editor Jacqueline Carlyle (Melora Hardin) adores and respects Kat, she won't be able to do so for she might get the board upset. Speaking of Jacqueline, after spending an entire season in a tumultuous marriage with Ian, it might be expected that she chooses to repair it. A high-end job and the repairing marriage hints at an intense season for her.
What's more? This season will also see the enigmatic fan-favorite Melora Hardin direct an episode, the second in the series, for the first time ever.
Sutton should be ready to begin her married life with Richard Hunter (Sam Page) and we expect the upcoming season to revolve around this new phase in her life. At the same time, she had been promoted to the stylist. That is an exciting endeavour for her.
With all the strong and willful women of 'The Bold Type' making a return, we can hardly wait for what the season has in store for us.
