'The Biggest Loser': Kristi may be eliminated but that hasn't stopped her from continuing to work out

We have to admit that Kristi indeed looked significantly leaner and healthier in her montage. We can't wait to see her when she comes back on the show for one last weigh-in

As the finale episode of 'The Biggest Loser' inches closer, so does the competition among the candidates. In the latest episode, the top five contestants were made to complete a circuit challenge to gain a one-pound advantage during the weigh-in.

Kristi McCart performed splendidly in the challenge and won against her opponent Jim DiBattista, but sadly that wasn’t enough for her, as she ended up getting eliminated this week.

Kristi, a native of Riverview, Florida, recently had a child. However, she left behind her baby and husband to be on the show because she wanted to lose weight and get healthy so that she could have another child.

She weighed 264 pounds when she first came on the show. In her introduction, she expressed how her unstable childhood gave rise to her unhealthy eating habits. Kristi reveals that her parents divorced when she was young.

That affected Kristi greatly. She began living a life filled with uncertainty as she didn't know when she would get her next meal. Once she grew up, she resorted to extreme dieting and other unhealthy strategies to lose weight, which obviously never yielded the long-term results she was looking for.

On the latest episode of 'The Biggest Loser', Kristi managed to defeat Jim in the circuit challenge but lost to Micah Collum. This gave Micah the coveted one pound advantage.

During the weigh-in, although Kristi lost five pounds, she still ended up going home because Micah managed to get saved by the skin of his teeth thanks to the one-pound advantage. It could have been Micah going home had it not been for the one-pound advantage.

In the 'where are they now' montage, we see that although Kristi has been eliminated from the show, she hasn't stopped working out and is continuing her journey to a healthy lifestyle.

She reveals that as soon as she got home, her husband had to undergo an ear surgery due to which she had to take care of their child single-handedly for two weeks. She admits that it was challenging initially for her to take care of her child, go to work and continue with her workouts, but she found a way to do it all.

We have to admit that Kristi indeed looked significantly leaner and healthier in her montage. We can’t wait to see her when she comes back on the show for one last weigh-in.

We wouldn’t be surprised if she manages to win the at-home challenge money of $25,000 for losing maximum fat loss percentage among eliminated contestants.

You can catch all the new episodes of the reboot version of 'The Biggest Loser' every Tuesday at 9/8 c on USA Network.
