‘The Bachelorette’ 2022: Fans raise red flag after Jason Alabaster expresses love for his mom, sister
After a long wait, ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 19 finally premiered on Monday, July 11, on ABC. The show features two reality stars Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, who were runner-ups in ‘The Bachelor’ Season 26. Both the stunning stars have started their quest for the future love of their lives with whom they would eventually want to settle down towards end of the show.
Talking about the contestants in the season, all 32 men have something different and unique about them which can make them stand out in front of both Gabby and Rachel. One of them who tried hard to impress them both was 30-year-old Jason Alabaster.

Into equity sales by profession, Jason impressed viewers when he got down from the limousine to greet Gabby and Rachel. He tried making small talk with both of them about himself and his life. Everything was going well till the moment he said, “I am a bit like Clayton in one way. I love three people in my life. My mom, sister and my dog.”
The moment he said that both Gabby and Rachel had surprised and weird looks on their faces as they didn’t want to be reminded about the last season and Clayton. Even though the stars didn’t make their displeasure apparent, the ardent fans who have been watching the new season expressed their dislike towards Jason. The fact that the contestant mentioned about loving three people didn't quite settle well with many social media users.
“Man I can't get over that guy saying that about his mom and sister. One of the biggest red flags a grown man can have is being obsessed with his mom like that. Girls, run!! #TheBachelorette”, said a fan. “#TheBachelorette Jason: “I’m in love with 3 women. My mom, my sister… Me:”, added another fan. “Am I supposed to like they guy who just told us he’s in love with his sister totally unprompted? Really, that’s the best we’ve got? #TheBachelorette”, noted a fan. “Mom? Sister? #TheBachelorette”, added another fan.

“The one guy bringing up how he had something in common with Clayton because he was in love with 3 women clearly never ran that intro by a woman before the show. #TheBachelorette”, said another fan. “If a man told me he was "in love" with his mother, sister, and dog, it would be an immediate go back to the limo. Immediate. I'd take myself out of there. #TheBachelorette”, added a fan.
