While not everybody who appears in 'The Bachelor' franchise ends up finding their one true love, they, however, do end up raking in some serious cash, thanks to their stint on the hit reality dating show. We laid our eyes on the current bachelorette, Clare Crawley, way back in 2014, in Season 18 of 'The Bachelor'. Clare who worked as a hairdresser then has continued with her job, despite her growing fame, and popularity.

During her stint on 'The Bachelor', she became an icon of sorts after she dumped Juan Pablo for mistreating her right before the final rose ceremony. Her feisty attitude instantly captured everyone's attention. Unfortunately, she left 'The Bachelor' with neither love nor money, as the contestants aren't compensated monetarily for their appearance on the show.

Clare returned to her hairdresser job, but this time around things were different as several brands began approaching her for social media promotions. Soon, Clare became a social media influencer of sorts, but still stuck to her day job as a hairdresser. Clare's net worth steadily began increasing, as she appeared in the first two seasons of 'Bachelor in Paradise' and also 'Bachelor Winter Games'. According to Reality Steve, the contestants on 'Bachelor in Paradise' were paid anywhere ranging between $7,000 to $15,000.

The leads of 'The Bachelor' franchise are said to be paid handsomely. Reality Steve estimates that the leads of the franchises make at least $100,000 during their season. Season 8 bachelorette Emily Maynard is said to have made a whopping $250,000 for her season. Although details of how much Clare was paid haven't been revealed yet. It is also unclear whether Clare was paid since she quit the show midway, or whether she had to split the money with her replacement, Tayshia Adams.

Either way, the veteran reality star has nothing to worry about, as years of her hairdressing career clubbed with her lucrative social media promotions, she has managed to boost her net worth to $800,000. According to BioWiki, Clare's estimated salary is supposedly between $100k to $200k annually, and her net worth as of 2018 is estimated at $800,000. Her net worth is expected to be boosted further following her stint as the lead of 'The Bachelorette'.

'The Bachelorette' Season 16 premieres on Tuesday, October 13, at 8/7c on ABC.
