‘The Bachelorette’ 2022: Fans joke Covid-19 'protected' Gabby from Logan following elimination
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS: As Season 19 of 'The Bachelorette' inches towards the end, it looks like Gabby and Rachel have to now make some rather tough decisions regarding their future. Between the men switching teams and pre-rose ceremony eliminations, it looks like both women are now ready to go into their hometowns with their selected suitors.
With the last set of dates taking place before hometowns, it looks like Gabby went on a bit of an elimination spree before the rose ceremony, seeing that she ended up eliminating one but two men prior to the rose ceremony.

Post Gabby's group date, Jesse came bearing bad news that Logan tested positive for Covid-19. While this meant that the cocktail party was canceled, Gabby went into the rose ceremony instead, ready to hand out roses. However, she brushed over the fact that on account of testing positive, Logan was no longer a part of the process, bringing his journey on the show to an end. This meant that the men going into the rose ceremony were Spencer, Jason, Erich and Johnny, while Gabby would be giving out only three roses. Fans were confused over the fact that little to no insight was given into Logan's elimination, but couldn't help but joke that Covid saved Gabby from him.
"This Covid situation has me so confused. Gabby just breezed past the fact that Logan was done-zo like she couldn’t decide whether to have Coke Zero or water with her dinner. #TheBachelorette" tweeted a fan. "Every dramatic thing that crossed my mind of why Logan was not at the after party … the actual truth was not a thing that I thought about. #TheBachelorette I thought he was married, slept with a crew member, hit someone, led a secret life … but noooooo" added another. "So Logan got covid and now he’s just gone and not coming back? I’m gonna need a lil more explanation pls #TheBachelorette" wrote a fan. "They’re so desperate for good drama they wouldn’t tell the guys that it’s because Logan tested positive for Covid to try and make them mad at him?? #TheBachelorette" said a fan. "Covid protecting Gabby from Logan #TheBachelorette #bachelorette" joked another.
