Standing out within the premiere episode of 'The Bachelor' is literally like jumping through hoops of fire (which we're a little surprised, seeing that no one has actually tried that yet). After all, you're up against 32 contestants, each with an entrance more gimmicky than the next, all while trying to catch the eye of said bachelor, or as in this case, a certain Matt James.

But sometimes, there are some contestants who just prefer to do it the old-fashioned way, show up in a beautiful gown and let their personality do all the work. And no, you don't always need an over-the-top entrance to win a rose.

Enter Lauren Ashley Maddox, a 29-year-old attorney from Miami, Florida, who proved that sometimes less is more when it comes to making a man swoon over you. Maddox's entrance was a simple one, but by the look of it, she has made a lasting impression. Curious to know more about who she is? Keep reading!

What does Lauren do for a living?

From the sunny state of Florida, Maddox is a corporate attorney. It's safe to say that she is definitely an independent individual. She's also rather career-driven, seeing that recently had her law reviews published. When she isn't at work, Maddox enjoys going to the beach, working out and hanging out with her book-club friends. She knows how to strike the right balance. Although she seems like she's on the quieter side, don't let that fool you, she knows how to make an impression.

Does Lauren have an Instagram account?

Yes, Maddox does have an Instagram, you can follow her at @la_maddox. By the look of it, she enjoys traveling.

What kind of man is Lauren looking for?

Maddox is quite accomplished and she wants to share her success with someone special. As per her bio on ABC, she is on the lookout for a genuine man who will always have her back through thick and thin. They also need to be a mature, level-headed individual, seeing that she hopes to start a family soon. That being said, her partner better want kids, otherwise it's a deal-breaker. While she is looking for someone who gets her and is on the same wavelength as she is, she hopes that they can also be her best friend and not just her partner, something that was lacking in her previous relationships. She'd like it if James can change that and her hoping he does!

After the January 4 premiere, 'The Bachelor' is broadcast every Monday at 8 pm ET (7 pm CT) on ABC and Hulu + Live.
