'The Bachelor' Season 26: Clayton's parents hold him accountable for fantasy suite fiasco
If you've been keeping up with Season 26 of 'The Bachelor', then you know that Clayton Echard is now caught between a rock and a hard place. After having met with Gabby, Rachel, Susie, and Serene's families, he realized that Serene wasn't the one for him, resulting in the top 3 of the season.
This meant that Rachel, Gabby, and Susie entered the fantasy suite segment, the show's final segment. While they were all whisked away to Iceland and embarked on romantic dates, Clayton had no idea of the storm that lay ahead.

With Susie being the last in the date lineup, she expressed in her confessionals that for Clayton to say that he was falling in love with someone else or to be physical with them would result in an end of their relationship.
She felt that if he was falling for her, then she should come above all else. However, Susie hadn't mentioned that physical intimacy with the other two women would be a dealbreaker to Clayton. Seeing that he has strong connections with both Rachel and Gabby, it was no surprise that he ended up sleeping with both of them. When Susie asked him about this, Clayton told her the truth.
Susie was upset over the whole ordeal and unsure how they could move forward. But what caught her off-guard was the way Clayton lashed out, blaming her for not having told him about how she felt about intimacy. He claimed that she was throwing away whatever they had and even shut down when it came to the idea of them talking it over. Susie left, leaving Rachel and Gabby as the final two.
However, it looks like Clayton is now seeing the error of his ways, as he has begun to worry that Susie leaving might have cost him the love of his life. While Clayton sat down to discuss the same with his parents, they held him accountable for what happened. His father even noted that they were not wrong in wanting to be first and that Clayton should acknowledge that they have all the right to be upset.
He even added that Clayton had "screwed the pooch" when it came down to his final decision. It looks like there is no clear end in sight for Clayton as of now.
