Who is Marlena Wesh?
Born in February 1991, Marlena is a Haitian-American sprinter. She competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics, representing Haiti in the women's 200-meter and 400-meter sprints. According to her bio on the ABC website, she is described as the "full package". "Marlena is definitely the full package and to say she's accomplished would be an understatement. Not only is she vice president of human resources, but she runs her own real estate company and owns several properties. She also competed for Haiti at the 2012 Summer Olympics in track and field! Yes, she is an Olympian, people! Marlena's energy is infectious and her smile lights up a room. She knows who she is in this world and has worked hard for all that she has in life. When Marlena loves, she loves hard and is looking for the right partner with whom to settle down."
In the show's trailer, Marlena can be seen expressing how she's looking for a man with a great smile to match hers! While the 30-year-old is still waiting for Cupid to strike his arrow at her, her professional life appears to be thriving. In November 2021, the former Olympian took to her Instagram to announce that she's following her passion and calling by becoming a realtor in Miami. She wrote, "What did I miss? Because y’all missed a LOT! ☺️. 2 and a half months off social media and away from anyone having access to me (especially the people only trying to access me for things that don’t feed me mentally, physically, or emotionally). I took this time off to literally get my mind right for the next steps in my journey. A few of you know I recently stepped down from my corporate job as Vice President in HR to pursue what I’m most passionate about and that’s real estate - you know .. real estate investing, Short term rental management, being the master of my fate, captain of my soul kind of thing."
