'The Amazing Race' Season 32 is getting tough with every passing episode. With only seven teams left in the competition, the cast members are pushing themselves to reach the top. The competition also gave rise to an alliance in the hope that the team members can help others to stay in the game.

This alliance consisted of Gary Barnidge, DeAngelo Williams, Chee Lee, Hung Nguyen, Riley McKibbin, Maddison McKibbin, Will Jardell, James Wallington, Aparna, and Eswar Dhinakaran. The five teams got together and promised to help each other if any problem arises.

In the latest episode, which aired on November 18, all the teams had the task of climbing down a hotel, and in the process, unscramble the jumbled letters that were placed on the floor. The first team to reach the location was Gary and DeAngelo. Gary decided to do the task. Unfortunately, he forgot to see the jumbled letters.

The second team to arrive at the location was Han and Chee. Since the two had been in an alliance, Gary requested Chee to help him out. Chee promised to wait for him at the bottom if she had found the right answer. Once the two agreed, Chee was the first one to go. Even though she was scared of heights, she managed to find the right answer to the jumbled words.

However, instead of taking the lead, Chee decided to stick by her word and continued to wait for Gary. Once they got the answer right, they decided to leave together. Unfortunately, there was only one taxi that was available. Gary and DeAngelo decided to take that taxi and leave. Chee was upset about how Gary decided to repay the help.

She understood it was time to think about themselves. Following this, Chee and Hung struggled to find a taxi for a long time. This took away their chances of being the second team to arrive at the pitstop. Even though they managed to finish all the tasks, they found out that they were the third team to arrive at the pitstop.

Host Phil Keoghan admitted that he had never seen another team stop to help another team out. He hinted they should think for themselves as he revealed they lost the chances of winning $15,000. Chee and Hung agreed to help others, but not wait for them at the expense of falling behind. Is this the beginning of the end for the alliance?

'The Amazing Race' Season 32 airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on CBS.
