'The Alienist: Angel of Darkness' was off to a solid start on TNT and Dakota Fanning's Sara Howard was the recipient of fan accolades. The season opened with a woman wrongly convicted of murder and executed. While neither Sara nor her friends, John Moore (Luke Evans) or Dr. Lazlo Kreizler (Daniel Bruhl) couldn't do anything about it, there was one line Sara rings out— "A little rebellion now is a good thing." This just didn't have fans going ga-ga, but it also saw her earn massive respect.

"A little rebellion now is a good thing." Sara is already the MVP of this episode," a fan wrote. "Sara Howard is the woman I strive to be thank you and that is all #TheAlienist" a fan tweeted. "Go on Sarah...you be the voice...#TheAlienist," a fan remarked. "Do not touch Sarah. She is armed & she knows where to hit you #TheAlienist," a fan opined. "A room full of men wiping their hands of this! #TheAlienist," a tweet read.

"A little rebellion now and again is a good thing!” You tell them, Sara! #TheAlienist," a fan tweet read. The execution at the Sing Sing jail was one of the most barbaric scenes to witness, but that's 'The Alienist'. The show has not minced words or savage imagery to have a hard-hitting impact and Sara's timing of the line was spot on when she tried to put a stop to the execution by electric chair the final minute. The move though doesn't yield the desired result and the woman, Martha Napp (Hebe Beardsall) dies.

"Well that was horrific #TheAlienist," a fan exclaimed. "That image needs to be purged from my mind. #TheAlienist" a fan opined. "Oy vey the thought of burning flesh smell #TheAlienist," a fan said repeating Kreizler's line from the episode.

"Man the creepy factor this season of #TheAlienist is so well done. It like a well made horror film not knowing when something going to happen with everything building up to that one moment of terror @theAlienistTNT," a fan tweet read. Fans will be delighted the show is a two-episode affair as the series promises more intrigue and chills.

'The Alienist: Angel of Darkness' airs Sundays 9 pm ET on TNT.
