Mae and Qimir (Manny Jacinto) embark on a search for Kelnacca (Joonas Suotamo) and reach Khofar.

Mae appears to be having second thoughts and is showing signs of wanting to abandon the quest, while Qimir seems to be hiding something about himself.

He is unhappy about Mae considering quitting, and his demeanor has shifted from that of a supportive accomplice to something different.

The Jedi embark on an expedition to rescue Kelnacca, during which Bazil (Hassan Taj) is introduced.

He is an adorable Tynnan tracker who is tasked with following Mae, but he disappears, much to the disappointment of the Jedi group.

Qimir gets caught in a trap, and Mae, leaving him behind, goes to hunt Kelnacca, only to find him already dead, cut by a lightsaber.

By the time the Jedi reach and threaten Mae to come out, they are in for a surprise when Jecki Lon exclaims, 'What is that?'

They are confronted by a mysterious masked figure who lights a red lightsaber and magically just blows off the Jedi.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger without revealing the identity of the mysterious masked figure.

What to expect in 'The Acolyte' Episode 5?

Episode 5 might finally reveal the identity of the mysterious Masked Sith as the Jedi take on this powerful masked figure who wields magical abilities.

We already know that Mae was tasked with killing Master Sol, and it appears that the masked Sith no longer trusts Mae, as he killed Kelnacca instead of Mae.

Whoever the Sith is, it's clear that Master Sol is the next target, presenting a challenge for the Jedi to overcome.

It's also possible that the show's creators might opt for another flashback episode, similar to Episode 5, to delve into the origins of the Masked Sith.

Either way, we are in for an exciting episode full of revelations.

Episodes 1, 2, 3, and 4 of 'The Acolyte' are streaming on Disney+.
