SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS: A 19-year-old punched his girlfriend in the face around 10 times and ended up breaking her jaw in three places. He had also carved his name onto her forehead.

Jackub Jackson Hildreth, 19, was arrested by police for brutally attacking Catalina Mireles, 22. As reported by KSAT-TV, Hildreth was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The attack had started in the morning and had lasted until the afternoon and had begun after the pair had argued about their relationship.

Mireles shared, "He was going to put me in the closet until he figured out what he was going to do with my body." The victim spoke out about her attack as she was recovered from her injuries at home. She had many bruises on her face, including on her cheeks, chin, and right eye. Her face was extremely swollen as she struggled to speak.

The couple had met on Facebook around three weeks ago. As the argument got more and more intense, Mireles shared with the investigators that Hildreth had grabbed her by her neck and punched her in the face. He then allegedly carved his name into her forehead using a knife.

Hildreth fled the scene before the authorities had arrived. Authorities tracked him down a few hours later and arrested him. It is reported that Hildreth has a criminal history. The arrest affidavit claims he was previously wanted for burglary assault and family assault. Mireles revealed she is thankful to be alive after saying she could very well have been dead.

Her mother, Juanita Lopez, shared that she was relieved that her daughter's attacker is in prison. "She was scared for her life, he tried to kill her. I don't want him to get out again because he's going to hurt someone else. She's my baby, I didn't expect this to happen." Mireles also warned, "Don't trust anybody you think you might know."
