AUSTIN, TEXAS: Officials in Texas have issued an Amber Alert for a young boy who they say has been abducted by his mother.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office issued a regional Amber Alert for four-year-old Marsdan Ellis Harp, who was taken by his mother Celina Jeanne Harp, 39, from a residence on 9611 Dawning Ct. at 2 pm on December 26, according to a press release.

Marsdan was last seen traveling south on Mopac at FM 2244 in a dark green Ford Fusion with a Texas license plate that reads LGV-3638.

Officials said the boy was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts. He is 3 feet 9 inch tall, weighs 42 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Because the Amber Alert is a regional one, which means it is believed that the child and the abductor are still in the area, officials cautioned that it would not activate alerts on cell phones or even appear on road signs.

This is not the first time that Celina has abducted her son either. It was previously reported that the 39-year-old had kidnapped the boy when he was just one-year-old back in 2016.

Police in Austin had announced that they would need the public's help in finding the young boy after he was last seen on August 11, 2016. On that occasion, he had been found safe and unhurt.

Celina was described as someone with brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 6 inch tall, and weighing 130 pounds. It is unclear if she still fits the same description.

Users on social media promised their support to find him and said they would pray for his safe return. "Prayers for his safe Return and prayers for his biological Mother to do the right thing and bring him back home," one wrote.

"So sad but when the amber alert came on the tv his mother had at least 8 hours head start," another posted.

Anyone with information on Marsdan's and Harp's whereabouts has been advised to call 911 or even the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 or the Austin Police Department at 1-512-472-8477.
