An unidentified Texas couple decided to tap into the footage of their ring camera to check in on their daughter while they were away from home but were met with a nightmare of a situation. The two watched in horror as the footage showed their teenage daughter and two others held facedown by a pair of robbers on April 20 in Pasadena, near Houston.

The couple posted the security footage on Nextdoor, captured by their ring security camera. The video shows three youngsters being forced to put their heads face down on the floor by the handgun and rifle-wielding invaders. At around 8:30 pm, the camera captured the couple's daughter, their niece, and a friend lying facedown on the living room floor as two men wearing hooded sweatshirts pointed guns at them.

The man with the gun dragged the niece by her hair and pushed her out of the room while saying, "Get up, get up, let's go." The girl can be heard saying, "Where do you want me to go? Where do you want me to go?" The microphone then turned on, and the girl's father yelled at the burglars, "Hey, who's in my house?! I got you on camera!" Then the girl's mother joined in and shouted, "The cops are on the way!"

The man with the handgun returned to the living room loaded with stolen stuff. As the invaders walked out of the house, they shouted back, "Don't pick your f**king head up or I'll pop your a**!"

According to the Daily Mail, no suspects have been arrested yet, however, the Pasadena Police Department has confirmed that a home invasion happened and is being investigated.

"Hi neighbors this happened in my home last night about 8:40 pm. My daughter and her friend were held at gunpoint by one young Hispanic male while the other went into my bedroom. My husband and I were not home and I cannot tell you what I felt seeing this on my ring app in real-time and not being able to help them. It was very hard for us to watch as it was happening but I am posting this video so that if anyone has any information please let us know, I would like these people off the streets so they don’t do this to anyone else. I also have reason to believe the girl in the video walking with them was involved. So any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you neighbors," the alleged post from the mother reads.

A follow-up comment from the mother said, "The girl in the video is my husband's niece, she told my daughter she needed her clothes from my garage. After she came in the two guys rushed my daughter with guns and told her to go inside where I was able to capture it on my ring app."

"We have received several calls, at our dispatch center, regarding a video circulating on social media that shows a 'home invasion' that occurred on 4/20/22 at approximately 8 pm. We can confirm a 'home invasion' happened in the area of 4300 Nations on that date and time; however, this incident is being investigated as a targeted attack by known suspects and victims. According to our investigators, there is no continuous, direct threat to the community by these suspects targeting unsuspecting victims. Also, the video that was released to the media was not discussed with the lead detective in the case (before its release) complicating the investigation and resulting in an undue panic among several citizens," the statement from the Pasadena Police Department reads.
