While wrestling fans were still mourning the loss off Shad Gaspard, who drowned trying to save his little son, the tragic death of 22-year-old Hana Kimura has left them further devastated on Saturday, May 23. She had ingested hydrogen sulfide to kill herself.

Although the police have refrained from revealing the details of her death out of respect for her family, her fervent fans have asserted that she fell prey to the much-prevalent issue of cyberbullying and through a series of tweets urged social media users to put an end to it.

“Stop #CyberBullying now. It’s disgusting. Don't do it. Intervene or Report. Seek help.” wrote one fan. For the uninitiated, Kimura received hundreds of hate messages on a daily basis, following her tiff with Kai over laundry on the Netflix reality show ‘Terrace House’.

Addressing the criticism and hatred she was subjected to for her actions on the show, moments before committing suicide, she shared a tweet that read, “Nearly 100 opinions every day. I couldn't deny that I was hurt. I'm dead. Thank you for giving me a mother. It was a life I wanted to be loved. Thank you to everyone who supported me. I love it. I'm weak. I'm sorry. I don't want to be alive anymore. It was a life I wanted to be loved. Thank you everyone. I love you. Bye."

Expressing their disappointment over the wrestler’s tragic death, one fan noted  “#HanaKimura's suicide reminds me of Sully. But what saddens me is the reason why she got those bullying, that conflict with Kai in a #TerraceHouse ep. People, that was just a silly everyday conflict. She didn't even smack or slap him or anything. She didn't deserve those hates”

“The big issue here is cyberbullying, and the fact that it killed many, including Hana Kimura. People need to be punished for their words, I agree,” added another.

Meanwhile, defending Kimura and opposing the opinion of many about her behavior on the show, another fan shared one of her clips and tweeted, “This scene was so beautiful. she finally told him her feelings before he leaves the house. she is so pure, innocent, cute and real. it sucks that she took her own life. she is honestly a beautiful person and one of my favorite member in all of terrace house. rip hana kimura, ily.”
