'Temptation Island' reunion: Fans feel 'played' by Kate after learning she was back with David after the show
When Kate left 'Temptation Island' alone fans cheered for her and felt that leaving alone was way better than leaving with David, the boyfriend she came to the island with.
On multiple occasions, we saw him disrespect their relationship and cause immense pain to her. The season finale saw David and Kate going their separate ways, though David left with his new love Toneata.
During the reunion special, when we learned that Kate and David got back together after the show, fans were left feeling upset and disappointed.
David reveals that Toneata and he broke up soon after the show, Toneata then explains that she felt "used" by David because following his move to LA, he expressed a desire to pursue a career in acting and modeling.
To make things worse Samantha, one of the girls from his threesome, refutes David's claims that he never kissed anybody on the island apart from Toneata. Despite seeing David's true colors all over again, Kate still somehow seems keen to go back to David.
Their segment ends with kate saying she needs to process all the new information she received and both David and she says that they'll take things one day at a time!
After watching Kate run back into the arms of David despite everything, fans were left feeling "played". A fan wrote, "Last week everyone was hyping Kate up, only for her to stay with David, in the end, she played y'all #TemptationIsland."
Another fan expressed their disbelief with, "I can't believe Kate took this sociopath back smh #TemptationIsland". One fan added, "I can’t believe Kate took him back... I don’t feel bad for her anymore."

Many fans were also upset to learn that Kate ghosted Dom after she got back with David. "All these people talking about how great and strong Kate is...please. She rambles about deserving more and growth and then takes David back. She's weak, just like him. Plus playing Dom and ghosting him in the process? What a joke. #TemptationIsland," pointed out a fan.
Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "Kate merely used #DOM #hotchocolate for #selfesteem booster shots like I said she was doing, weeks ago! Kate’s no better than #David they deserve each other! #KARMA #TemptationIsland."
A fan wrote, "Kate, I had so much respect for you leaving David and you were so classy the entire season. I have no idea what happened to make you take him back. Either he is a master manipulator or you have no respect for yourself. #TemptationIsland."
Few upset fans concluded that Kate and David deserve each other. "#TemptationIsland Kate and David deserve each other. They both are narcissistic lying a******s," commented an angry fan. Another fan shared, "You're getting what you deserve Kate! Bye girl! #TemptationIsland."
