‘Temptation Island’: Casey Starchak calls the show and host Mark Walberg a 'joke'

'Temptation Island' star Casey Starchak took to his Twitter to express his displeasure with the show and its host.

‘Temptation Island’ season 2 star- Casey Starchak doesn’t seem to be happy with neither the reality show nor its host- Mark Walberg. On Monday, November 25, the reality star went on a Twitter rampage against the show. In case you’re wondering why, then here is a little background for you.

Casey came on the show to prove to his girlfriend- Ashley H that he is trustworthy and wanted their relationship to get stronger. The first few episodes saw him bordering on cockiness when it came to his confidence about his relationship and his girlfriend not cheating on him. It all came crashing down on him when during the recent bonfire clip he was shown Ashley and one of her suitors Ben Knoblach getting intimate. Casey was so shocked and surprised by what he saw that he began beating  up the bench he was sitting on and was seen crying his eyes out.

Ashley revealed that Casey’s statement that he would be okay if she broke up with him is what pushed her to step back and have fun on the island instead of crying her eyes out for Casey.

Several memes have been doing rounds on the internet ever since, showing Casey’s statement about him being fine even if Ashley left him with him crying. Host Mark Walberg happened to hit “like” on a few of these tweets which irked our reality star, which led to him taking to his Twitter to express his strong opinions about the show.

In a tweet, he wrote, “When the host of the show pretends to be there for everyone but actually just cares about the interests of the show and what will make USA the most money,” #dramasells #thanksforthesupportmark.” He later added, “My boy Mark always supporting! He’s a joke and this show is a joke.. #manipulationisland #sueme.”

The 26-year-old was immediately criticized by Evan Smith from season 1 of the show, who asked Casey not to come for Mark. Smith tweeted, “Leave @marklwalberg outta.. That’s my guy. Take the L and get off your phone. We all know Mark has our best interests. If you had something important to say you would have showed up to the reunion. Don’t get it twisted, this has nothing to do with money. You’re the one getting butthurt on our Hosts LIKED tweets and screen shotting them. Like I said, don’t come for @marklwalberg.” The duo soon got into a heated argument on Twitter.

Later, Mark Walberg apologized to Casey. He explained that he clicks like on all of the ‘temptation Island’s’ viewing related tweets and doesn’t pay much attention to the content of these tweets. He also added that he had nothing but respect for Casey.

'Temptation Island' airs every Thursday night at 10/9c only on USA Network.
