'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant' is set to premiere its second season with two new teen moms. and making her debut on the show is 17-year-old Rachel Beaver.

Rachel is a mother to her beautiful daughter, Hazlee, and through the show, she hopes to showcase how there is a light at the end of the tunnel even after going through various ups and downs.

Speaking exclusively to MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), Rachel reflected on how her life changed as a mother. "All the craziness, just running around and being crazy, becoming a mother really just settled me down," she said.

"Really just made me want to try out things and gave me a priority. She made me want to make something of myself. Before I was just sitting around and doing nothing with my life but as soon as I had Hazlee and I saw her face, it just completely opened up my eyes to reality," she shared.

While Rachel's life completely changed after Hazlee came, things were different before her arrival. When the reality star told her family about the pregnancy, there were a lot of emotions that were going through everyone.

"Well, my mom started crying and everyone else was just really surprised," she said. "It was emotional. I mean, I was 16-years-old and it is not easy for any mom to hear that their 16-year-old is pregnant."

But things changed for everyone once they laid their eyes on Hazlee, Rachel shared. They all quickly accepted her and welcomed her with love and warmth.

Rachel revealed that the name Hazlee was very close to her heart and seemed to be a perfect fit for her daughter. "I used to watch this show and in the show, there was this girl whose name was Pasley."

"Whenever I was younger I used to make things rhyme with it and then I came up with Hazley but then I changed the spelling on it. I changed it to "lee" because my grandmother's name is Ivorylee"

"She is really old and getting really sick and I wanted to just put something in her name that would symbolize her great grandmother," shared the star.

Meanwhile, apart from being a mother, Rachel added that she was taking GED classes as she wanted to make sure that she constructs a beautiful life for Hazlee.

"I am trying to get my GED and you will see it even on the show how there was a time when I was not doing good in school and running around and then getting homeschooled," she said.

She added, "I don't have time to do school with Hazlee and that is the whole reason why I can't graduate high school and I have to get my GED because I have to take care of Hazlee. It is really hard."

However, Rachel hopes that with her story, people "get inspired by it and realize that they are not alone".

'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant' returns to MTV on October 22 at 9 pm.
