'Teen Mom 2' preview: Jade Cline left surprised after Sean refers to her as his 'girlfriend'
Jade Cline and Sean Austin's relationship has been getting better but it does not look like Jade is interested in moving forward with it. In the preview for the next episode of 'Teen Mom 2', Jade found herself surrounded by her close friends and family who got together for a celebration.
Sean was also present in the celebration and decided to take a moment and deliver a toast dedicated to Jade. Sean wanted to thank Jade for being "an incredible mom and an incredible girlfriend". However, hearing the words "girlfriend" did not fit well with Jade.
She was left surprised and confused as to why Sean would refer to her as his girlfriend when he was aware there was nothing between them. In the past, Sean has been open about his feelings for Jade. During one of the episodes, he confessed that he was still in love with Jade and would want to get back together with her.
"I should get a job and get my act together," he said. "I miss being a family. Even though we are not together I miss them constantly and I am thinking about Jade and Kloie. I know I messed up in the past pretty seriously but I just want to show her that I can be the person she wants me to be. "
Jade and Sean are also proud parents to Kloie and she became the priority for both of them. Sean added that he wanted to make sure that Kloie has her parents in her life and does not have to choose one of them at the end of the day.
"Jade is everything I wanted in a wife or mother for my daughter," he said. "I don't like the fact that we are separated." However, in the previous episode, Jade made it clear that she was not interested in starting a relationship with Sean. She admitted that they were in a better position than before but it did not mean that she would want them to start dating again.
Will things change for the pair in the future or will Jade distance herself knowing that Sean pictures their relationship as something other than it is.
'Teen Mom 2' airs on Mondays at 8 pm on MTV.
