‘Teen Mom 2’: Kailyn says baby daddy Chris didn't meet kid, fans ask how did she 'get pregnant twice by bad dad?'

Kailyn Lowry’s new life between remote learning and having a newborn started at full swing and she felt exhausted. On the December 8 episode, she talked about how her delivery went to the producer of the show, Patrick.

She said baby Creed had been difficult to deal with, he hardly slept and cried all the time. She informed Creed was tongue-tied and that was causing difficulty for him to have food. Kailyn said at the time of the birth of Creed, Chris Lopez, father of the child came over and he bought a bag of diapers. Other than that there hasn’t been any major contribution from him into his life.

"He bought a box of diapers for Creed when Creed was born and that was it," Lowry told a producer. "He hasn't seen him since the week he was born." Kailyn also shares son, Lux, 3, with him. However, during the process of Creed’s birth, her ex had been very supportive as she said, “To my surprise, I will say he was very supportive, we didn't argue, it was good."

The birth itself wasn't non-scary though, as Lowry explained how Chris was "terrified" when Creed was "completely not breathing" when he came out. She said the midwife had to give him breaths and then he was fine. "A midwife is not a doctor and I am 45 minutes from a hospital, so that peace of mind, you don't have that when you have a home birth."

Explaining her custody arrangement with Lopez to her producer, Lowry said he only has supervised visits. "He is legally allowed to contact me in writing about his kids," she claimed, "He's never done that." When her producer asked what she wanted in terms of Chris as a father she said, “I just don't want you (Chris) to f--k my kids up." "And I need to pick up the pieces of the mess I created and keep on pushing," she added.

Viewers took to the official handle of Instagram to discuss the incident, “I absolutely LOVE LOVE kail but how you have two good dads and then get pregnant twice by a bad dad ? I’m so confused and this girl has really good judgment it’s a Pisces thing,” wrote a fan. “t least she can admit that she’s made some bad decisions but she’s being a woman and mom and doing what she’s has to for her kids. Unlike Brianna where everything is everyone else’s fault but her own,” wrote another viewer. “I still don’t understand how did she figured that Chris barely being in Lux’s life (forget financial support, being a present parent is what I mean), him being physically abusive and having to take a PFA on him made her think that having a second baby by this man would change things,” wrote another viewer of the show. Another viewer wrote, “And get on some mother truckin birth control!”

'Teen Mom 2' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
