Tammy Slaton got an earful from Dr Procter, the consulting doctor for Tammy and her sister for their weight-loss surgeries. Both the sisters were up for an appointment with him last week and were worried about how he was going to react after they messed up. Amy became pregnant just after four months of weight-loss surgery, especially after she was instructed by the doctor to wait two years. Tammy, on the other hand, was asked to work towards reaching her goal weight after which she could be cleared for surgery, one which was badly needed due to her condition. She did manage to lose some weight initially but she gained more than she used to during the lockdown.

"I am worried about Tammy. I am afraid that the longer this goes, your mobility is going to go away. As soon as you stop walking that is going to be the end of it for you," Dr Procter said to Tammy and the rest of her family while flagging her condition. "I am going to refer her to one of my bariatric surgery colleagues in Kentucky so that she can be watched closely. I am really worried about you because your chances of dying in the next five years are about 80 percent if nothing happens," he said.

Everyone was heartbroken with this news, but it was Tammy who was affected the most. However, she fought back the tears to ensure that her family doesn't give up on her yet. During a confession, Amy said she didn't want Tammy, who is practically her best friend, to be put in the ground because there's a lot more that her sister is yet to experience in life. Brother Chris, too, couldn't bear the thought of Tammy dying and decided to do something to help her.

In the upcoming episode, he will be seen joining Tammy with her diet and show his support. They both switch to bananas, yogurt, and egg white omelet for breakfast and talk about the future and the lifestyle changes they will have to embrace. Tammy was left feeling defeated, let down, worthless and useless because, once again, she had fallen off the wagon. Chris spoke to her about it and assured her that he will be there every step of the way to fight off temptations.

Tammy pushed the blame on Amy for some time during the conversation, saying she comes in with bags of food and asks her to try it out as well. However, Chris told her that she needs to be accountable for her life and that he will support her while she does. Will Tammy be able to stick to a healthy diet after the death warning from Dr Procter? Only time can tell.

'1000-lb Sisters' airs on Mondays at 10 pm ET on ABC.
