'Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!': David Adefeso slammed for arguing with Tamar when she said 'no sex for 45 days'

'Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life' premiered Thursday night, September 10 and saw the reality TV sensation and songstress embark on a journey of finding everything that she lost in the past couple of years, including her family, friends and her own self. She also introduced businessman David Adefeso as her boyfriend in the premiere episode of the docuseries. He has faced a lot of flak in the past since 2018, the time they started dating and Tamar has defended him strongly. The hate has sprung right back once again after the episode premiered and irate fans are calling him out on Twitter for how he spoke to Tamar in the episode.

It all started with Tamar hiring a "creative coach" named Goli Samii who boasted having worked with a lot of celebrities and musicians. Goli specialized in something that she called "Dream Work" which basically means decoding dreams and helping the dreamer connect with their own self and attain "higher plateaus." To kickstart this procedure and do it in the right way, she suggested that Tamar stay away from a couple of interfering elements including sex, smoking, alcohol, phones and any other gadgets. Tamar was ready to go ahead and do this as she felt it was important for her healing and growth. Before committing to the procedure she decided to run this by her partner David who after hearing the T&C of it, wasn't happy to abstain. He said he was a born again Christian and asked Tamar if she understands how hard is it going to be for him to oblige and commit to something like this.

Fans who tuned in to the episode are surely not very happy with how he handled this situation and they took to Twitter to voice their concerns about it. "It's only the first episode and David got on my nerves already! He's such a Christian but gave Tamar a hard time about going without sex for 45 days. #GetYaLife #TamarBraxton," wrote a fan.

"Hard core - born again Christian? He must be new at it because a true Christian, can go 45 or more days without sex. David sounded like a 9th grader trying to hard. #GetYaLife #TamarBraxton," wrote another.

"So David says he can’t go without sex for 45 days yet he’s a devout christian but they’re not married. Uh BYE sir! #GetYaLife #TamarBraxton #Tamar," read another tweet.

"Tamar's dude as a "born again Christian" against a dream doctor but fine with unwed premarital sex? Ok. #GetYaLife," wrote another fan.
