'Sweet Home Sextuplets': Boys decide to learn karate but will they disappoint Eric by leaving basketball?
Saylor, Wales and Bridge Waldrop have always been excited to try something new and this time, their hearts were set on learning karate. Wales had been asking Eric and Courtney Waldrop to enroll them in a karate class but they never agreed as the boys already had a lot on their plate.
The boys have their baseball and basketball practice along with their school activities that limited them to choosing only two sports at a time. However, looking at how they have been eager to learn karate, Courtney wondered if it was time to give them a chance to see if they enjoy the sport or not. Eric wondered what it would mean if the boys decided to quit basketball. Eric and the boys shared a tight bond and spent a lot of time together when they played basketball. Eric has been their coach for a while now and by doing so, it allowed him to spend time with all three of them, away from the sextuplets.
It happened to be their special game but with the boys wanting to go and try karate, Eric wondered if they would choose karate over basketball. Speaking to the camera, Eric opened up to the producer who asked him if he would be disappointed to see the boys choosing karate over basketball. Eric admitted that even though he would be upset, he was ready to allow the boys to see where their interest lay.
Courtney and Eric thought it would be good to enroll the boys in an 'intro' class before putting them on daily classes to be sure that they enjoy it. The boys were excited about their intro class but not everyone had an experience that they had hoped for. While Wales and Bridge enjoyed their time, Saylor struggled with it. He admitted that it wasn't as much fun as he had hoped it would be. However, Bridge and Wales happened to have a lot of fun and were looking forward to more classes. Finally, it was time for them to decide what would they want to choose. Eric made it clear that they would not be able to learn too many sports and had to pick two.
The boys struggled to make the decision and insisted on learning all three. Eric finally concluded that the boys could learn karate but when the baseball season came, they had to decide which sport they wanted to drop. Hearing this put a wide smile on their faces as they looked forward to acquiring more skills.
