The wait is almost over folks as 'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 is all set to premiere in less than a week. 

'Survivor: Winner at War' is the forthcoming season from the famed reality TV series 'Survivor'.  This particular season is most-looked forward to by fans and viewers because it features 20 champions from previous seasons in order to celebrate 20 years since 'Survivor' premiered on our screens. 

Prior to the premiere, the series recently had a special retrospective episode where they introduced us to the 20 champions who will be battling it out to be the greatest survivor of all time. 

While there is little to no time left for the season to premiere, here's everything you need to know about the forthcoming 'Survivor: Winners at War'. 

Release Date 

'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 will premiere on February 12 on CBS. 

Plot 

'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 will feature 20 champions battling it out to be the greatest 'Survivor' of all time. The one contestant standing till the end will bag home $2M instead of the regular $1M that has been awarded over the past seasons and be named the greatest 'Survivor' of all time.

The season will see the return of 20 contestants who won previous seasons. This is the eighth consecutive season that has been filmed in Fiji.

'Survivor' Season 40 will see the 20 champions divided into two tribes — Dakal and Sele.

Jeff Probst is a well-known executive producer and game show host. He is known for being the host for 'Survivor' which is one of the longest-running reality tv series. He is also known for his talk show, The Jeff Probst Show that aired from  September 2012 to May 2013. He is also the first host to have received a  Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.
