'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39 Finale & Reunion: Fans claim Tommy made a mistake by telling Dean about clues

Dean is now left with an immunity idol and an idol nullifier that he won when he went to the Island of the Idols.

It all comes down to this, 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39 has come to its end and it's time to see who amongst the remaining five will outwit and outlast and become the Survivor. 

The remaining five people that are left this season are Noura, Dean, Tommy, Lauren and Janet. Last week when the episode almost came to an end, we got to know that Dan was removed from the competition after another inappropriate touching incident that involved a producer. This is the second time that Dan had been accused of this after he first inappropriately touched Kellee who was eliminated earlier this season. 

Kicking off the finale with the reunion, Boston Rob and Sandra Diaz spoke about how the show has changed their life. Meanwhile, the remaining contestants were sent to the Island of the Idols for the rest of their time on the island. And since they made it to the final five they get a new buff.

Tommy starts trying to figure out what Rob meant when he said the island has many "gifts". He tries to figure out what the machete in the buff meant, and he finds a machete in the island that pointed toward a coconut that was painted red. 

Since Tommy is colorblind, he teams up with Dean and tries to find what it meant. Later Tommy finds another board painted with the same color, and underneath that is a symbol that looks like H, Using that clue, Tommy tells Dean and the duo try to figure out what it means. But Dean goes on his own and figures out it resembles a swing, and right near the swing, he finds another H symbol. Dean digs through that and finds an idol.

Dean is now left with an immunity idol and an idol nullifier that he won when he went to the Island of the Idols. Taking to Twitter, fans claim Tommy made a mistake by bringing in Dean with the deal.

"The move Tommy just made is right up there wit going to Tribal wit an IDOL knowing u r in jeopardy n not use it. There r certain things u shouldn't do n Tommy u will regret ur action when u find out Dean took the info u gave n found da IDOL. #Survivor #survivorislandoftheidols," a fan shared. 

"People need to stop telling others about their advantages and clues! And definitely never expect someone else to give it to you just because you told them about it! Bad move, Tommy. Well played, Dean," a fan wrote while another shared, "Tommy really is a moron for telling dean though." 

"Dammmnnn... Tommy did all the work for Dean to cash in...Not gonna lie, this is payback for all the teachers that told me to show my work even though I already knew the correct answer," a fan wrote.
