Super Bowl 2020 got a "political" twist as US President Donald Trump ran an advertisement of his own to make a case for his re-election. Apparently, he spent $11 million on the commercial, which puts focus on his strong economic record.

The president made an appeal to voters to come back with the tagline, “the best is yet to come.” The ad put the spotlight on the low unemployment rate, wage growth and strong economic prospects for African Americans and Hispanics. Viewers were clearly miffed to see the commercial and in no time, social media was buzzing with tweets about how "politics has no place at the Super Bowl." Many even called it downright "bulls**t."

One tweet read, "Everyone has to top Donald Trump's #BlackHistoryMonth commercial. #SuperBowl," and another said, "Watching all the RAGE because @realDonaldTrump ran a "political ad" during the #SuperBowl after we had to sit through basically EIGHT SUPER BOWLS OF LEFTIST ADS!"

"Not to be disrespectful but when I saw @realDonaldTrump commercial I thought this was Rosa Parks but then I watch it threw," one viewer posted and another wrote, "What bulls**t commercial by @realDonaldTrump during the Super Bowl."

Another tweet read: "I can’t even focus right now because of that sick f**k @realDonaldTrump and that f**king ad...he thinks we’re all stupid #SuperBowl."

"Nobody else felt awkward during that Trump campaign commercial? The entire crowd was about two dozen black folks cheering exceptionally loud while praising Donald Trump. What's the message you're trying to get across in that ad @POTUS," one viewer wondered and another blatantly posted, "Politics have no place in the Super Bowl. That goes for the Democrats as well. Give me 1 day that I can stop hearing from all of our SHAM politicians, for s**t sake."

"How much that lady get paid to say that s**t about Donald Trump?" one viewer asked and another pointed out "the nerve of Donald Trump." Moreover, just before the kickoff of Super Bowl LIV, Trump sat down for an interview and spoke about impeachment, the upcoming election and the spread of the coronavirus from China. That's not all. He even called the impeachment process a “very, very unfair process” and “all nonsense.”
