LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Sugar' Episode 7 is now available for streaming on Apple TV+,  and fans who have tuned in are eagerly awaiting the arrival of episode 8, the thrilling conclusion to Season 1.

'Sugar' follows the story of a private detective John Sugar (Colin Farell) who is tasked to find the missing Olivia Siegel (Sydney Chandler).

As the series progresses, we learn about the mysterious identity of John Sugar who belongs to a group of aliens who are on a mission to observe life on Earth and use their jobs as a cover-up for their real identities. 

At the end of episode 7, John Sugar makes a breakthrough in his search for Olivia Siegel. He locates her in the basement of Senator Ryan Pavich (Cameron Cowperthwaite), yet her well-being remains undisclosed.

When will 'Sugar' Episode 8 be released?

Apple TV+ is following a weekly release pattern for 'Sugar.' Following this pattern, 'Sugar' Episode 8, titled 'Farewell', is set for release on Friday, May 17.

The episode is expected to have a runtime of 30-35 minutes, and subscribers to Apple TV+ can stream it from their homes.

What happened in 'Sugar' Episode 7?

'Sugar' Episode 7 saw John Sugar continue his search for Olivia Siegel with his friend Melanie (Amy Ryan).

Sugar comes close to revealing his secret to Melanie multiple times throughout the series but ultimately confides in her, disclosing that he works for a secret organization while maintaining his job as a private detective as a cover-up. She interprets it as Sugar being a foreign spy. 

John Sugar and his group receive news that they must return to their planet, as their identities are on the verge of exposure by powerful individuals who are aware of their alien nature.

Blackmailed into stepping back from the Olivia Siegel case, they face a critical decision about their future on Earth.

John however continues his search for Olivia and arrives at the house of a senator, where he believes he has located her in the basement.

However, the makers leave Olivia's fate ambiguous, leaving her well-being and health uncertain.

In Episode 8 of "Sugar," viewers can expect to uncover more details about Olivia Siegel and the events surrounding her disappearance.

John Sugar may find himself dealing with the repercussions of his persistence in the case. 

Episode 8 titled 'Farewell' suggests that it may indeed be time for Sugar to bid farewell to Earth and return home. This pivotal episode is likely to delve into Sugar's origins and backstory,

If John is compelled to return home, his departure is bound to evoke a reaction from Melanie, with whom he shares a deep emotional connection.

Finally, the episode might shed more details about  Djen, John Sugar's sister who has been mentioned multiple times in the series.
