Episode 10 of ABC’s ‘Stumptown’ showcased a lot more drama than usual. Although ‘Reality Checks Don’t Fail’ was action-packed, we were rather intrigued by what went down between the characters, forming a full spectrum of emotions.

While Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders) is going through the hardest time dealing with Ansel’s decision to move out, Miles Hoffman (Michael Ealy) isn’t able to let go of whatever he had with Dex.

In the latest episode, we also see Miles and Grey McConnell (Jake Johnson) join hands to bust carjackers, for which the latter had to go back to playing a criminal again. Grey establishes that he doesn’t want to go down that road, but Miles talks him into doing it anyway, by reminding him of the Kane situation.

While we all know Grey owes Miles for saving him from facing the consequences of his criminal past. But how right was it on Miles’ part to join hands with a man with whom he shares an extremely complicated relationship?

Firstly, it 's rather awkward to watch Grey and Miles indulge in possible bromance considering their involvement with Dex. Also, Miles is a cop and Grey was involved in some of the most notorious crime activities in the past. No matter how true their intentions with each other are, we can expect to see their individual interests serve against each other’s ego.

On watching episode 10, fans of ‘Stumptown’ have also expressed concern over Grey and Miles’ growing proximity, with the majority of them dissing the cop for ‘blackmailing’ Grey to work with him.

“Is Hoffman just going to keep bringing up the Walter Kane situation when he wants Grey to do something? Like when will they be even? #Stumptown,” wrote a fan.

Another added, "Holy shit what a super dick move, Hoffman. I know you're pissed about Dex but that's no reason to get Grey shot like this will probably end up doing. #Stumptown"

Meanwhile, a few cringed at the thought of Grey and Miles becoming something more than just ‘another man’ in Dex’s life.

“Yeah. It's official. I don't like Hoffman. That's some mean shit forcing Grey back into a person he's tried so hard not to be. #stumptown. Please noo to the bromance between Hoffman and Grey #Stumptown”
