'Stranger Things' Season 4 Episode 8: What is Vecna's plan to enter Hawkins and destroy it?

The final two episodes of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 have finally made their way to Netflix and fans are flocking to the streaming platform to see two visually stunning episodes. The ending of volume one saw Nancy being captured by Vecna and she went into a trance. Steve was trying hard to bring her back and the entire group was looking for one musical hit that would save Nancy from the evil monster.
In Episode 8, titled ‘PAPA’, we see Nancy trying to run away from the monster and enter a room. However, the lights go out and we see Nancy tied to a chair with Vecna’s tentacles over her arms and legs. Vecna reaches there and tells her that it’s not her time to go from here. Instead, he wants to show her something that would tell her what’s about to happen in the near future. He asks her to tell Eleven everything she saw so that she could know that Vecna is coming to wreak havoc. Nancy sees some really disturbing visuals and when it gets over, she wakes up in real life as well.
Nancy and the entire group – Steve, Eddie, Lucas, Max, Dustin, Robin, and Erica – are sitting together, with Nancy telling everyone what she saw. She says that she saw dead soldiers, and dead people all around Hawkins, and then she realizes that it was the Upside-Down Hawkins, it was the real Hawkins. However, she got really emotional when she saw her mother, Mike, and everyone close to her as well, and all were dead. But there’s one thing that changes everything and that is Vecna’s plan to enter Hawkins and destroy everything.
So, Nancy says that she saw four gates. One of them looked like Eddie’s trailer and there were bodies lying. Sadie understands what she was talking about and says they were the “four chimes” like Vecna’s clock because it only rings four times. The group understands that it means he needs to kill 4 people from Hawkins to get back to the real world and he is only one kill away to get through.
So, Vecna’s plan is to kill someone from the group and complete his mission so that he can get back and wreak havoc. The entire group gets really nervous about it and is now working to stop Vecna.
Will Vecna be able to kill someone from the group to accomplish what he wants to? Let’s wait and watch.
