The fourth season of ‘Stranger Things’ exceeded all the expectations and broke almost all the viewership records after its release. Prior to the release of Season 4, the Duffer Brothers made it clear that they wanted to push boundaries this around and the results were extraordinary. However, Season 4 is not over yet and the final two episodes of the ongoing edition will be making their way to Netflix on Friday, July 1.

Volume 2 of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 will feature two super-sized episodes that would definitely keep us at the edge of our seats because the makers have already announced that there will be major surprises for the viewers. Actor David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on the show, has taken our excitement level to a whole new level as he revealed that the finale of Season 4 will be better than anything that viewers have seen in the ongoing season. During volume one, we saw Vecna wreaking havoc on Hawkins and killing people without even using his full powers. On the hand, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) has got his powers back and Joyce was able to get Hopper out of the Russian prison. Elsewhere, Nancy, Steve, and Robin are in the Upside Down, trying to fight Vecna. Dustin, Eddie, Max, and Lucas will be fighting the evil in their own unique. All in all, it seems we are in for a treat and Harbour believes that Volume 2 will blow everyone’s mind.

In an interview with Reuters, Harbour said, “If you've enjoyed season four up until this point, get ready because the (last two episodes) are the best thing that makes what you've seen look like chump change compared to it.”

The actor also opined that the scale and scope of Volume 2 are “wondrous” and viewers should be ready for a “masterpiece”. He added, “It's a masterpiece, it's beautiful, it's epic... but it's also on a scale and a scope that almost gets silly and it's like wondrous, almost manga-esque. You're going to be blown away.”

On the other hand, in an interview with IndieWire, Harbour described volume two as the “race to the finish”. He added, “What you’re gonna see is us sprinting hard as we can – not only are you gonna see the Duffer sprinting there cinematically in this epic, extraordinary way, but you’re gonna see all the characters [doing] more and you’re gonna have these epic action sequences.”

The comments made by Harbour have surely made us super-excited for the final two episodes of Season 4. The finale will be 2 hours and 19 minutes long, which makes it the longest episode in the show’s history. With everything going out of hand in volume one, we can surely expect some fireworks in Volume 2. Also, there would be a lot of deaths as the creators have already announced that viewers should get ready to say goodbye to some of their favorite characters.

It won’t be easy for anyone to bid adieu to these characters, but it will be interesting to see whose story ends with these final two episodes.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Volume 2 will premiere exclusively on Netflix on Friday, July 1. And while we wait for the show’s premiere, here’s a look at some must-read content:
