With its gripping storyline and compelling plot twists, 'Stranger Things' is rising on the charts with 91% on rotten tomatoes. But it's not just the show that's getting the attention. Fans are going berserk over Eddie Munson's exit song and are compelled to make sure it reaches the top of the UK charts. 'Stranger Things' enthusiasts have been waiting more than a month for it to return to Netflix for the last two episodes of season four. Many speculations and questions were circulated regarding the ending of the show.

The characters Dustin Henderson and Eddie Munson were played by Gaten Matarazzo and Joseph Quinn, respectively. In the show, Eddie and Dustin were in charge of luring the animals away from the house so that the others would have time to plan their attack. In Eddie's Upside Down trailer, where they were formulating their strategy, he noticed his favorite guitar hanging on the wall - which gave him the idea to use music to entice the bats away from the house. And he did it elegantly.

With a blood-red sky as a background, flashes of thunder all around, and the horrific creatures heading their way, Eddie performed a heavy metal rock number on his electric guitar. The song that Eddie played was 'Master of Puppets' by the legendary band Metallica. It is the "ultimate rock concert song," fans claim on Instagram. The lyrics go, "Blinded by me, you can't see a thing" and "Dedicated to how I'm killing you" - not a bad choice to show the team's main motive. Ever since the season aired, fans of the show have been working toward getting the song to the top of the UK charts.

Joseph Quinn as Eddie Munson in 'Stranger Things' Season 4 Volume 2 (Netflix)

Even more astounding is the fact that Joseph Quinn, who played Eddie, played a part in the guitar solo. In his interview with Esquire, the actor mentioned that he played the guitar since he was a little child. He also said that 'Master of the Puppets' has been his most-streamed song on Spotify in the past. While working on the song performance, Quinn got help from a brilliant guitarist named Aiden, who took care of the much more complicated fingering while he took care of the rest. "I had a bash. Who doesn't want to feel like a rock star for an afternoon?" he said.

Quinn described how he bought a guitar and immediately jumped into an excessive amount of practice to get ready for the solo. "There was a feeling that this was the first time that people had seen live music in a long time. No one would want to hear [me play it live], but I practised, and I learned the song," he said. The actor also mentioned how much fun he had "jamming" with the crew and how incredibly lucky he felt.

The track is from Metallica's 'Master of Puppets,' their third studio album. It was originally made available on March 3, 1986 and received mostly positive reviews and peaked at number 29 on the Billboard 200. Recently, there have been increasing calls to push it to the top of the UK charts. However, Kate Bush's song 'Running Up That Hill' is still at the top at the point of writing.

'Stranger Things' official Instagram posted the entire scene, which received raving reactions from fans. One wrote, "When I saw that he played this I literally screamed." Another said, "MOST METAL CONCERT EVER!!". Judging by the havoc the scene has created, it is nothing short of iconic. Check it out below.
