'Stranger Things' comics introduces 'Six', another teen with psychic powers

The latest of the four-issue comic series written by Jody Houser with artwork by Edgar Salazar focuses on Francine, another psychic teenager who was experimented upon by Dr. Brenner

Two seasons of 'Stranger Things' have given us a good understanding of what happens in Hawkins and the city's lab, and while we wait for the third season to premiere on Netflix this July, the second issue of the comics based on the show, created by Dark Horse, will hit the shelves next week, as reported by THR. The site also released a trailer, which you can watch below:

Titled 'Stranger Things: Six', the graphic miniseries is set prior to the events of the first season that involved the mysterious disappearance of Will Byers and the introduction of Eleven, a teen with psychokinetic powers. 'Six' focuses on Francine, another psychic who was experimented upon by Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine) and what her future holds for her.

The latest of the four-issue comic series is written by Jody Houser with artwork by Edgar Salazar. Houser has also written the first issue, 'The Other Side', which follows Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) after he is taken to the Upside Down by The Demogorgon. The comic with exclusive artwork will be available in a limited edition pack and will be released on May 29 in stores, and online.

'Stranger Things' is a line of comics based on the Netflix original series of the same name. Published by Dark Horse Comics, the series is written by Jody Houser, inked by Keith Champagne, colored by Lauren Affe, and lettered by Nate Piekos. The first volume was illustrated by Stefano Martino while the second was illustrated by Edgar Salazar. An exclusive 'Stranger Things' one-shot issue was released for free on May 4, 2019, as part of the Free Comic Book Day event.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited third season of 'Stranger Things' will hit Netflix on July 4 and will see the teens of Hawkins battle enemies, both old and new.

Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven, Finn Wolfhard's Mike, Winona Ryder's Joyce, Noah Schnapp's Will, Caleb Mclaughlin's Lucas, Gaten Matarazzo's Dustin, Natalia Dyer's Nancy, Charlie Heaton's Jonathan and fan-favorite Joe Keery (Steve) are all set to reprise their roles. Also, the two new kids in town Max (Sadie Sink) and Billy (Dacre Montgomery) will also return.
