Stephen Amell, who plays Arrow aka Oliver Queen on 'Arrow', has been our favorite person to follow as he has been constantly keeping us updated about the upcoming Elseworlds crossover. The crossover will be broadcast at the beginning of December and will bring together our favorite superheroes part from Arrow -- The Flash (Grant Gustin), Super Girl (Melissa Benoist) along with Batwoman portrayed by Ruby Rose.

In a recent tweet, Amell posted a picture with Colin Donnell, with Amell dressed in the Flash's suit. Donnell is known best for his role as Tommy Merlyn from Earth-X in the 'Arrow' series. His character was killed off at the end of the 'Arrow' season 1, but he did return to the show briefly in last year's crossover Arrowverse episodes.

Donnell retweeted this picture shared by Amell and left many DC fans wondering whether Tommy's character will make a comeback in this year's crossover too. It might just be possible that this was just a friendly visit by Donnel on the sets, however, we are hopeful that there is more to the picture than just a meet and greet.

Soon after this picture, Amell posted another tweet announcing that the crossover has been officially wrapped up.

Soon after his tweet about wrapping the shoot up, Amell posted another picture thanking Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist. Amell stated that this is the crossover he always wanted and it would not have been possible without his fellow colleagues, Gustin and Benoist.

The crossover episodes are just a month away, and currently on the show we see Oliver Queen still behind bars. However, the synopsis of the November 19 episode titled 'Due Process,' suggests that Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) might help Queen get out of the jail, just in time for the crossover.

While Gustin's character on 'The Flash', Barry Allen, is attending to some personal stuff and Benoit's character on 'Supergirl' just got herself a new suit. It would be interesting to see what will bring these superheroes together and how the crossovers will play out.

The three-part crossover begins on The CW on December 9, with 'The Flash', followed by 'Arrow' on December 10 and finally ending on December 11 with 'Supergirl'.
