So kids, the moral of the 'Stargirl' Episode 8 story is, when you've just returned from the emergency room and are recovering from various injuries inflicted by a diabolic meta-human, maybe the best thing is to not go and hunt them down again? Isn't that part of the unpublished superhero manual?

Courtney Whitmore aka Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) got beaten up and thrashed around last week by Cindy Burman aka Shiv (Meg DeLacy). Courtney's father Pat (Luke Wilson) had to rush her to hospital and craft a believable story for her mother. Despite being warned several times about not being impulsive, Courtney decided to flee the scene again, because she assumed that Shiv was going to kill her friends.

Our heroine burst in through Shiv's window and started another battle with her, which was epic, to be fair. And then the two fought it out on empty streets because apparently everyone in this town goes to sleep at seven in the evening, seemingly wearing thick earmuffs and can't hear the entire ruckus the two made. Henry King Jr enters the scene, and his Brainwave spasms end the fight between the two. He has the same powers as his father and seems unsure of what to do with it. He is conflicted as he can hear everyone's thoughts.

Before he can sort himself out, Shiv is taken away by her father's minions, while Courtney tries to understand Brainwave Jr (we might as well call him that now). Fans are wondering whether Courtney will recruit him to the JSA (Justice Society Of America), because Yolanda (Yvette Monreal) would be less than pleased as she feels that he is responsible for her painful humiliation in school. Oh and Henry knows that Courtney is Stargirl too, because let's face it, who doesn't? Some fans are saying that Courtney has 'Barry Allen' syndrome and that everyone in the town and probably the neighbouring one will know her identity by the end of the season.

"Dragon King knows about Henry and so does Courtney so its a race to see which side he'll end up on based on that promo. Gosh tonight's episode hit on all cylinders!! Absolutely loved it!!!" a fan wrote."So since everyone, including Henry knows Courtney’s Stargirl it makes sense to let Barbara and Mike in on the secret so they can take precautions to protect themselves and the family."

"Henry seems to be more powerful than his father," a fan tweeted. "Well, Henry is probably going off the deep end. And now the ISA has a Brainwave they can use for their big scheme. We got problems," another wrote. "Courtney has Barry Allen syndrome. Everyone in the damn town will know that Courtney is Stargirl by the end of this season," a fan wrote.Others slammed Courtney for her impulsive behavior. "Courtney needs to go, she is a liability," a fan tweeted. "Courtney doesn’t learn does she? She’s been at this like a month and three bad guys already know her true identity. Just stop and think for once. #stargirl," a fan tweeted.

'Stargirl' airs on The CW Tuesdays at 8 pm.
