'Stargirl' Episode 11: Jordan is in love with Barbara, fans wonder if they'll have an affair
It's an emotional episode for 'Stargirl'. Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) has finally found out that her father isn't Starman and she now knows that because her real father Sam Curtis showed up, out of the blue. True to many family dramas, he wants to be with his daughter more and this charged affection has been reignited for more than a decade. There's a lot of family drama to process in this episode, and Courtney has finally realized that she just might have put her friends in danger and is indirectly responsible for Henry King Jr's (Jake Austin Walker) murder as well as Joey's.
Meanwhile, they don't have much time to dwell on all this, as sinister Brainwave (Christopher James Baker) is on their trail. He tells Jordan Mahkent aka Icicle (Neil Jackson) the truth about Courtney and their family and demands that they kill them all. However, Icicle, who doesn't think twice about murdering people in the coldest way possible, is suddenly rather iffy about committing this one. Why? Well, according to fans, it's because he is in love with Courtney's mother, Barbara (Amy Smart). Well, that would make for a fun twist, and fans have been pointing out the 'vibes' between them for ages now.
In fact, Brainwave hints at this during his conversation with Icicle. "'I killed my own wife and son for your dream of a new America, Jordan, and you’re hesitating over a woman that works for you?" he asks.
"Are they trying to make a storyline with Jordan and Barbara dating #DCStargirl #StargirlCW #Stargirl," a fan asked. "Henry just told Jordan about Courtney and Pat. He wants to kill them. Jordan won't let him. #Stargirl," another tweeted. "Great. Now Jordan likes Barbara...#Stargirl," another wrote. "Jordan tryna smash Courtney's mom...#Stargirl," a fan wrote.
