'Stargirl' Season 1 is coming to an end, but not without some zingers. In Part 1 of the finale, the ISA (Injustice Society Of America) decided to open fire on Courtney Whitmore's (Brec Bassinger) family. While Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) struggled to fight the sinister Sportsmaster (Neil Hopkins) who was once a friend of his, Courtney and Barbara (Amy Smart) got thrashed around by Tigress (Joy Osmanski). It was an intense opening sequence and initially, the family didn't stand a chance. Luckily for Pat, Mike Dugan (Trae Romano) managed to zap Sportsmaster with a drill and finally Courtney hit back at Tigress with her cosmic staff. Currently, the family has escaped, but they can't hide for too long as the ISA has some devious plans that they plan to execute soon.

Fans love the teamwork of Sportsmaster and Tigress, and some have even suggested that there should be a spin-off for the two of them.

"1. I hate that I like Sportsmaster and Tigress way more than I expected. 2. I would love/hate to see a spinoff featuring these two homicidal maniacs with their twisted AF relationship goals #Stargirl #StargirlCW," tweeted a fan.

Others praised the show for making Sportsmaster 'interesting' as compared to the comics. "I'll give it to #Stargirl for making Sportsmaster interesting. In comic books he's a C string villain who'd throw exploding baseballs at you," one tweeted.

"So both them scenes were badass. Courtney vs Tigress and Pat vs Sportsmaster. So good!! #Stargirl," another noted.

One fan appreciated that the two characters had a 'genuine' love for each other, even though they were downright sadistic to everyone else. "Also, I love that even though they’re evil, Sportsmaster and Tigress have a genuine love for each other. Go on you, #Stargirl for having a nice romance.....even if they’re sadistic. @joyosmanski & @neilehopkinsnhave such great chemistry," the fan wrote.

Meanwhile, the Justice Society Of America is struggling to decipher the ISA's plans and put a stop to them. Brainwave (Christopher James Baker) has taken on a cerebro-like instrument and is beginning to control all the adults in Blue Valley, telepathically.

Tune into 'Stargirl' for all the action, CW, Tuesdays at 8 pm.
