'Southern Charm' Season 8: Fans say Kathryn is 'the problem' for distancing Chleb and his family
If you've been tuning in to 'Southern Charm', then you know the new season is off to an intense start. Between Kathryn Dennis and Naomie Olindo going at it during her birthday party to Craig Conover and Austen Kroll dealing with issues within their friendship, it looks like the Charleston residents are all struggling to see eye to eye.
To add to the drama, the most unexpected argument at Kathryn's birthday turned out to be one between her and Chleb Ravenell. Kathryn was livid when she found out Chleb spoke to Venita Aspen, stating that it wasn't his conversation to have and that he wasn't 'loyal'. And it looks like the couple is still dealing with the aftermath of that particular argument.

The argument seems to have continued, with Chleb confronting Kathryn about her behaviour and how many of her friends didn't have nice things to say about her attitude. The conversation got explosive, to a point where Chleb left the house to gain some peace of mind. He called his mother and discussed the issue with her, explaining that Kathryn was not being reasonable and taking up too much of his time. He even added that she was coming between him and his family. Fans were convinced that at this point, she was beyond redemption.
"Kathryn wants Chleb to put her first - even at the expense of him spending time with his family?! #SouthernCharm @BravoTV" tweeted a fan. "Now don't let #BlackTwitter come for you Kathryn for trying to get in between a black momma and her son...you won't win that one, sis. #SouthernCharm" added another. "At this point Kathryn is the problem. #SouthernCharm" said a fan. "Chleb seems like a great guy….he just needs to get the f- away from Kathryn. #SouthernCharm" added a fan.

However, regardless of what fans had to say, Chleb explained the situation to his mother who was rather supportive. She even offered to talk to Kathryn to smooth things over. Chleb explained that his mother understood where Kathryn was coming from, seeing that she was also a single mother. Fans appreciated the fact that Chleb's mother wanted to help Kathryn out. "Chleb’s mother & Kathryn being close, and his mom helping Kathryn out with the kids is something I never thought I would’ve heard. I’m surprised! I’m happy Kathryn has people in her corner. #SouthernCharm" said a fan. "I honestly can’t believe Chleb’s mom doesn’t HATE Kathryn, especially if she’s known her for so long #SouthernCharm" added another. "I love how Chleb's mom is sympathizing with Kathryn and didn't just take Chleb's side #southerncharm" tweeted another.
